Prom night is a big deal for high school students across the country. It’s a culmination of their years at high school, their hard work, and all the memories they’ve made along the way.
After making it through all the trials of high school, a lot of students might be feeling a bit like superheroes.
But one group of friends from Subiaco, AR, took that “super” feeling literally when they coordinated their outfits for prom.
At first glance, the five boys looked traditionally dapper in vests and bow ties, each in a different color scheme — while the five girls matched their sequin-embellished dresses to their dates’ outfits.
Before leaving for the big event, the lovely-looking teens lined up to take photos so they could remember the special night forever.
Initially, everything seemed pretty standard, with the photo duties being handled by a local police officer who moonlights as a photographer.
But just like the student who made his prom proposal memorable with the power of song, these seniors wanted to make a little prom splash of their own…
So after the first photo was snapped, the boys started unbuttoning their shirts for a hilarious — and very memorable — surprise!

The dates got together and exchanged corsages and boutonnieres, all of which coordinated with their outfits.
But there was another reason for the careful lineup…
The young ladies’ beautiful gowns perfectly complemented the boys’ costumes, and the group had fun approaching prom in a festive and silly way.
