In this incredible video, a mother hen looks on expectantly as her babies hatch before her eyes.
She pecks at them gently, helping them along as they emerge from their shells, wobbling about and ready to take their first chicken steps (next step, taking on the world!).
The gentle mother hen also receives some well-deserved strokes and pets from her human friends. Nice job, mama!
It typically takes baby chickens 21 days to hatch after the eggs have been laid and kept warm by a brooding hen or an incubator.
